National Champs!!!

Suntree Viera Hawks 14U took 21 players and competed in the National Youth Championships in Daytona Beach Last week. and Games were played on Thursday and Friday in a 5 team bracket with Teams from Delray Beach, Treasure Coast, Jacksonville and the State of Missouri. The Hawks dominated the opening rounds to go 2-0.  The first game, started slow for the Hawks but they turned it on and won 28-0 vs Delray Beach where they dominated the line of scrimmage.

The Hawks played the very next day against the favorite to win it all Jacksonville Woodland Acres. Hawks  took the ball from the opening kickoff and with its quick strike Offense got up right away 14-0. The Hawks run the same style and fast-paced Offense as Viera High School and Woodland Acres was not ready for that style of play. In the game, Hawks recovered 2 onside kicks, had a Pick 6 and a 64 yard passing TD to put it away and were up by over 24 points middle of the 4th quarter, which is running clock time.  The game was called on Woodland Acres 4 yard line as ths Hawks were ready to punch in another score with 2:30 minutes left.  The Final result was Suntree Viera Hawks 45 Jacksonville Woodland Acres 25.
