Cocoa Wins Cape Coast Conference Championship

Cocoa High School Boys captured the 2015 Cape Coast Conference title. It took the Tigers a team effort and placing in the last events of the meet to repeat as Conference Champions. Chauncey Gardner ran a personal best(10.59) 100m 1st, (21.77) 200m 1st, and jumping 23ft 1/2inches. Bruce Judson ran (10.84) 100m 3rd and  (22.37) 200m 4th. Jaariq Charles ran (11.01) 100m 4th, (22.17) 200m 2nd, (48.91) 400m 1st, and anchored the 4×400 going from 4th to 1st after trailing the entire race.

Scoring for the Tigers: Rasheed People’s earned 7th in  the Shot Put, 4×800 finished 10th, 4×100 2nd, Leo Stephens 400m 6th, Marques Parker 3rd & Raymond Sellers 7th 300m Hurdles, CJ Gardner (43ft) 3rd Marques Parker(41ft 05.75inches) & Jekevius Henry(40ft 01.00Inches) 6th in the Triple Jump.

Other News: Rockledge HS Girls continued its dominance winning its 4th consecutive Cape Coast Conference Championship.
