Cocoa Tigers Football Class of 2025: A Legacy of Dominance and Excellence

As the Cocoa Tigers Football Class of 2025 prepares to hang up their helmets and step into the next chapter of their lives, their collective legacy stands as one of the most dominant in Florida high school football history. Over four years, this remarkable group of athletes has set records, won championships, and left an indelible mark on the sport.

A Dynasty in the Making

The Tigers’ seniors were a driving force behind an era of dominance, bringing home three state championships in four years and finishing as state runner-up in the lone season they fell short. Their overall record of 49-9 is a testament to their consistency and excellence, while their 18-1 playoff record over 19 additional games underscores their ability to perform under pressure.

The team never lost a single game within Brevard County during this span and achieved a perfect 4-0 record in the BBQ Bowl, asserting their supremacy over local rivals.

State and National Recognition

The Tigers climbed to historic heights nationally, earning a highest national ranking of 9th in 2023 and securing the top spot in the FHSAA final regular season rankings in 2021 and 2023. Individual honors poured in as well, with three players named MaxPreps All-Americans in 2023 and more expected for 2024. The pinnacle of individual achievement came when Jayvan Boggs was named Mr. Florida in 2023.

The Tigers proved they could compete with and defeat the best teams statewide, earning marquee victories against powerhouse programs like Vero Beach, Osceola, Venice, Treasure Coast, Dr. Phillips, Spruce Creek, Lake Minneola, Bolles, Jones, St. Thomas Aquinas, Seminole, Bradford, Florida High, Booker, Mainland, Berkeley Prep, Newberry, Cardinal Mooney, and Gadsden County.

This senior class’s achievements extend beyond the field. Their teamwork, resilience, and determination exemplify the values of the Cocoa Tigers program and the community they represent. They’ve set a standard for future teams to aspire to and have given fans memories that will last a lifetime.
