Local Players Selected as Youth Football All Americans

Brevard County has become one of the Nations Hot spots for College Recruiters and the trend has trickled down to the Youth Level. Last season Rockledge (RB) Jalen Mitchell was selected and performed great against the top 8th Graders in the Nation. That experience and opportunity allowed Jalen to make a smooth transition into High School ready to play on Varsity on day 1. _ _ Local Athletes were selected as Football All Americans after an extensive nationwide search for the best 6th-8th Grade Athletes. Football Hotbed All American Athletes must go through a rigorous process for nomination and selection. 8th Grade Titusville (RB) Caziah Holmes impressed all Season and also won the MVP at the Palm Beach Combine this summer. 7th Grade Viera (QB) Bryce Norton is a 2x selection, after playing in the 2014 game as a 6th Grader. These two players were selected after outstanding performances in the Hotbed Combines and during 7v7 Events this past Summer. __ were selected after being recruited from All American Scouts in the area.

Football Hotbed continues to highlight the nation’s best gridiron stars. The Annual All-American Award distinction is based on their academic classification during the 2015 fall semester.

The Football Hotbed All-American Games will feature 70 of the nation’s best athletes.
