IMG_2770

Heritage will play Dakota Ridge from Littleton, Colorado at ESPN Wide World Of Sports on September 2nd. This will be Heritage first out of State opponent since starting it’s Football program in 2009. Dakota Ridge was 9-2 with lots of Senior leadership Last season. They will be in a rebuilding mode as they replace the leading passer, rusher, and receiver. This years team is very young and will be tested by a talented Heritage squad.

Heritage is coming off a 9-3 season and will be in a reloading mode. The Panthers lost many players to graduation and transfers but the shelves remain stocked with top college prospects. SR WR Nick Barber has Offers from Columbia and Valdosta State while SR RB Avery Oates who runs a 4.55 forty is being looked at by several Colleges. The Offense returns 4 starters on the Offensive Line. All- State JR OG Rasheed Simmon and SR OT Joe Lopez will be a force upfront after paving the way for  5372 yards of Offense last season.

IMG_2747The Panthers live by a next Man up mentality and up next is Sophomore QB Willie Gaines. He will lead the new look Panthers and has already demonstrated he can move the chains after a strong Spring Debut.

Sophomore LB Nate Wright will lead the way on Defense. The defense will also have Highly rated Freshman DB Ra’shard Farmer, ATH Andre Hutchings, ATH Amarion Gaines, and DB Jaydyn Taylor in the fall.
